Rena’s practice focuses on the representation of affordable housing developers and owners in all aspects of the development and preservation of affordable, multi-family rental housing, with an emphasis on projects financed with low income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, RAD conversions, and federal, state, and local housing subsidies.
Prior to joining Kantor Taylor, Rena worked for eight years as Associate General Counsel of Central City Concern in Portland, Oregon, where she represented the agency in all aspects of housing compliance and development including participating in the creation or rehabilitation of over 600 affordable housing units, fair housing and grant compliance, and landlord/tenant law.
While in law school, Rena also clerked for the Marion County Circuit Court.
