Low Income Housing Tax Credits

Since the inception of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program in 1986, our attorneys have been involved in the structuring and closing of hundreds of LIHTC transactions. We represent nonprofit and for-profit developers and sponsors of low income housing projects, as well as tax credit syndicators and investors, in structuring and negotiating these complex transactions. Our services include entity formation, review of applications for LIHTC allocation and credit reservation contracts, review of carryover allocation documentation; drafting and review of real estate development documents; and the structuring of both debt and equity financing. We understand the complex nature of these projects and the intricacies of utilizing multiple sources of public and private financing.
