Vanessa Tran

Vanessa’s practice primarily focuses on the representation of affordable housing developers and owners in all aspects of the development and preservation of affordable, multi-family rental housing, with an emphasis on projects financed with low income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, federal, state, and local housing subsidies.
Prior to joining Kantor Taylor and obtaining a law degree, Vanessa worked as a developer for BRIDGE Housing Corporation where she participated in the creation of over 900 affordable housing units throughout Southern California.
Vanessa has also performed legal externships with Seattle Housing Authority, Public Counsel Law Center (Community Development Project), and Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (Land Use Unit).
