Sophie Solomon
Associate
Sophie’s practice primarily focuses on the representation of developers and owners in the financing, development, and preservation of multifamily affordable housing projects. Sophie has experience working on projects financed with low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and other state and federal funding sources.
Sophie received her B.A. from the University of Washington and her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Before attending law school, Sophie worked as a legal assistant at Kantor Taylor. Seeing the work that the attorneys at Kantor Taylor do to support important affordable housing projects inspired her to go to law school and return to Kantor Taylor as an attorney. Sophie is passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to safe and affordable homes and is grateful to be able to support creative developers working hard to address the affordable housing crisis.
Sophie lives in Seattle, Washington with her two (very cute) cats, Clementine and Daphne.
