Kantor Taylor represents HUD-insured lenders, owners, and operators of health care facilities in connection with the acquisition, financing, and structuring of a broad range of health care facilities, ranging from board and care homes to assisted living to skilled nursing facilities. We have closed transactions on facilities located throughout the country.
In addition to handling the financing, we are also involved with other aspects of the acquisition, development, and operation of these facilities, including review of owner-architect agreements, preparation of construction contracts, and negotiations between owners and operators including concerning operating leases and management agreements.
Our experience with the section 232 HUD-insured loan programs has involved new construction projects as well as acquisitions and refinancings, Master Leases, and Accounts Receivable Financing. In addition to closing loans, we have extensive experience in obtaining HUD Approval of Changes of Ownership (CHOP) and Changes of Operators.
